April 2009 Comment Contest

Alright, y’all, it’s time for the next contest, and for this one, I’m not digging deep.  I’m actually going to just steal an idea from some of my fellow bloggers.  Like them, I love getting comments on the different posts and hearing your feedback, and so that’s where I’m going with this.

For the whole month of April, you’ll collect points with your comments, and the person with the most points at 11:59 CST April 30th wins!  I’ll get to the prizes in a second.

Scoring is easy.  The first comment on any post, past or present, gets you 2 points.  A comment on any post, other than the first comment, gets you 1 point.  It’s that simple.  You don’t even have to be registered to comment, just enter the information and submit!

Here’s some additional rules:

• contest is open to US readers above the age of 18 only
• only comments made in the month of April 2009 count
• no back-to-back comments on any post
• no spam or nonsensical comments – they must make sense and be related to the post in some manner
• you must use the same name and e-mail in your comments

   That’s a sharp looking polo you got there. With summer right around the corner one of your readers will be really lucky.

   One thing you might want to make more specific is the comments on post. It simply says a comment gets 1 point, meaning someone could post comment after comment and rack up a million points. I know one rule is no spam…but…

   Maybe make a rule that says no back to back comments?
