September Cigar Give-away Winners!!!

Well, I was going to wait until tomorrow to annouce the winners, but in my own excitement, I’m going to announce them now. With 116 entries, all of the names were put into a hat and held up so names couldn’t be seen. With the assistance of my cousin, she drew the two names of our winners!!

So, without further ado, the two winners of a 5-pack of EO 601 Maduro cigars are Paul Montgomery and Mark Chan! Congrats you two. Check your email.

I’d like to thank all of you that entered and want to remind y’all to check in soon, because I’m getting something lined up for next month as well. We’ll change it up just a bit, but there’ll be something good in it for those who play.

  1. Congrats to Mark and Paul. Couldn’t happen to nicer folks. Well. I could think of one nicer guy but …

    Enjoy your smokes!

Can’t believe I won; thanks, Ricky for the generous contest. I’ve been dying to try the 601 Maduros and now I will finally be able to try them.

Keep up the great work on your site.

    Thanks again,
    Mark

  3. I appreciate your Contest & Cigars. I enjoy the Don Pepin line and have yet to try thr 601.
    Thanks again
    Paul

  4. OK here it goes—I had my first 601 Maduro this morning with my morning cup of java and this cigar is all it’s suppose to be. Lots of spices and smoke form this cigar. Don Pepin is one of my favorite go to cigars. The construction of this cigar is very nice and the color of the wrapper tells you from the start it will be a full bodied smoke and it was. Very nicely made with very little veins. The draw was very nice and enjoyed the slight tingle on the tip of my tongue.

My first couple of draws on this cigar was ones I always note when lighting this brand that is cocoa. As I got half way the flavor started picking up with the taste of roasted nuts, cocoa and spices. Man what a combination. I did have to relight a couple of times due to my having to put this baby down to give me a rest from the power of this smoke. This is a very good smoke and would recommend to everyone to try.

Thanks for the Contest and the winnings. I will let these rest for aperiod of time and post another review when I torch another one,

    Sincerely,
    Paul Montgomery

  5. Glad you liked it, Paul. I don’t consider them full bodied, but I’m more of a full-bodied smoker so my tolerance may be up there. Enjoy the rest. Looking forward to hearing about them.

  6. My next review on this cigar will be in the ICRS format. I appoligise for not doing so. All in all a very good cigar. Thanks again Ricky for the opportunity to try the 601 Maduro. I am now curious about the 601 SERIES NATURAL & the
    601 SERIES HABANO.

    Thanks Again!
    Paul Montgomery
