The name’s Ricky, or El General if you wish, and I’m the HMFIC around here.  This is my command post to bring you the latest and greatest intel from the cigar community.  You’ll get to hear my opinions on cigars, manufacturers, retailers, legislation, and any other kind of subject that has to do with cigars.  You’ll even occasionally get to hear my opinions on some things that are not cigar related.  Lucky you.

I was introduced to cigars while serving in the Marine Corps.  Happened to be given one at a going-away party for a friend over nine years ago and I haven’t looked back since.  It’s all been a great learning experience where I’ve met great people and smoked many great cigars.  I’ve even smoked a lot of really bad cigars, too.  Though I’m sure y’all have too.
