SCHIP Legislation – It’s Official

Well, it’s official folks, President Obama has signed the SCHIP bill into law and your cigars will now be taxed at a higher rate with a cap of $0.40 per cigar. This is essentially a sin tax, and it was expected to pass with a Democratic president in place. I’ll complain, but I won’t be complaining as much as the original SCHIP bill that I fought hard last year.
