A Lucky Friday the 13th!!!
Alright, y’all, I’m gonna spit in the wind, kick the black cat, push over the ladder, pinch the salt, and whatever else to defy all of the images that go with Friday the 13th and bad luck. Cause today, some lucky reader is gonna win a 5-pack of cigars. All you have to do is comment on this post right here. That’s it. Well, there’s the standard gotta be over 18 and in the U.S. to win, but other than that, just post a comment on this page, and you’re automatically entered in the drawing. Friday the 13th.. I’m getting my exam results tonight
Thanks for the contest. Didn’t realize it was the 13th until your post…ignorance would have been bliss, but now you’ve likely jinxed me. Maybe I should call in sick and smoke cigars all day….just then I might be able to avoid all the unlucky things that come along with Friday the 13th. Ha.

I’m feeling lucky!
Lucky day, for the kids. We’ve got a snow front barreling down on us, so the school district cancelled school for the day, hours before the first flake hit the ground. I’ve got ibuprofen and a shovel at the ready, so I’m not so intimidated. Bring it on.
I think a lucky day like today should include a visit to one of my local cigar shops for a little smoky R&R. After that, hit the office for a while, listen to people kvetch about the weather, then head home to shovel the driveway. Good luck to the rest of you, but my day seems already set.

How can any Friday be unlucky?
Maybe the best strategy would be to smoke a cigar with another number in the name. Like a Padron 26 or 64? Or maybe a Troya XVIII? Or even a RP 90 or 92? Lots of choices out there if you want to play the ol numbers game.
