Try the Toro size, I prefer it over the robusto. The Toro vitola is one of my favorite cigars and I've smoked alot of cigars. The toro is much smoother with a nice earthy flavor. Trust me, get a toro and you'll change your mind. At least try a toro before you mislead anyone else into thinking this is a dogrocket...

I've got a friend who just picked up a box of these cheap from CBid.
Will have to see how he likes them, and if they're any good from his box.

I wonder if dry boxing them for 48 hours would help with the ammonia smell while getting rid of the long wait time to smoke? Sometimes the Maduro's can be a bit wet.

GoinFerSmoke, I agree. This one rested for a couple weeks, but it's gonna take way longer for that to make any difference. My only problem is I don't think you should have to let them rest that long before they're smokable.

I think I would try this cigar, but I would let it sit for 3 to 4 months before trying it.

Normally that's what I would do, but with the strength of this ammonia, it's almost as if the tobacco wasn't cured long enough before being rolled. Plus, to let these rest long enough, we're talking months based on how much ammonia was coming through. Shouldn't have to wait months to smoke these.

Verdict is definitely still out.

If you are getting that ammonia flavor trying letting them rest a longer. I had a couple they kinda reminded me a little bit of a Partagas Black. The verdict is still out on them in my book.
