Quick Time – Arturo Fuente Work of Art Maduro
I’m usually not a big fan of perfecto shaped cigars. Most makers don’t roll them well enough to compensate for the draw so when you start it’s too tight and then by the time it opens up, it’s probably too loose. I’ve not had this problem with the Work of Art Maduro (WOAM). This is always a well made cigar. The wrapper looks wonderful – dark, chocolate-like, and smooth, it’s just inviting. The taste, however, is one-dimensional. Stong cedar flavors with spicey undertones are present from start to finish. If this is your thing, have at it. The burn eventually straightens out after lighting the “nipple.” Not a staple for me, but an occasional smoke, the WOAM is a cigar to try if you haven’t.
