First off, excuse the horrible picture.. My camera is acting up :(

I was gifted this cigar by a friend of mine at my local B&M, and I let it sit for a little while to let it acclimate to my humidor. I was really intrigued by this cigar. I hadn’t ever heard of it, and generally, I am not too much of a fan of Perdomo products, with exception to a few of their blends. Without further ado, lets get this rolling.

Pre-light: As I held this cigar to my nose, I couldn’t really get any substantial aromas out of it, but I did get a faint hint of floral and sweetness. I thought this would be interesting. I don’t normally care for that floral taste, but lets see how this works out. As I clipped then end and took a pre-light draw, I got more of the sweetness, almost sugar tasting, and the floral notes on the end of my tounge. At this point I was still a little unsure if I was going to like this cigar or not, but I am determined to smoke this one!

1/3: As I lit it up, the sweetness was very much there, but not unbearable. In fact, for some reason I was really enjoying it. The burn was nice and even, and the ash was tight. I could tell this cigar was well made, and as I continued on, the floral notes that I noticed on pre-light became noticeable, and defined. The smoke coming from this smoke was abundant and fluid. It was great. At this point, I was really enjoying this smoke, the combination of the sweetness and floral proved to be a nice change of pace from what I normally smoke.

2/3: As I continued on with this cigar, there wasn’t a whole lot changing. I still got a lot of floral notes and some sweetness. The floral notes died down just a little, and the sweetness came to the forefront. I ashed it at this point, in fear of ashing all over my lap. The smoke was still very abundant and I was still enjoying this smoke. At this point, the burn started to wave just a little, but not enough to make me want to put it down. The draw was still very nice, and almost perfect. Almost done now, and still very pleasantly surprised by this cigar.

3/3: As I finished it up, things changed a touch, and I got a little leather/wood with more floral notes. The smoke was still abundant and the flavors were very interesting. I was really enjoying this cigar, even though the flavors were very different from what I usually smoke. I smoked this one all the way down to the nub, and really enjoyed it all the way down. I am not really sure on the price point on these, as I can’t find much on the internet, but I think I may have to buy some more.

Overall Impression: Overall, I enjoyed this smoke, but I don’t know if I could smoke one all the time. I think I enjoyed it because its not something I usually smoke. I may buy a box of these for the occasional change of pace smoke. I recommend picking up some of these, even if you don’t like floral cigars, there was just something different about it.

Cigar Rating: 3.5 stars
